… As Soludo’s regenerative agricultural revolution in Anambra State takes off.

The Commissioner for Agriculture Anambra State, Dr. Forster Ihejiofor, yesterday June 20th 2024 met with different Stakeholders to discuss the modalities for the 2024 distribution of Economic trees in the State. The Commissioner alongside Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters Dr Alex Obiogbolu met with the leadership of APGA, PGs, Asatu Youths and Women, Local Government Heads of Agric Department, Extension Agents, Local Government Heads of Service and other groups who will be playing different roles to see that every onye Anambra receives his/her share of all the economic trees that will be distributed this year.
They deliberated on issues of importance about the previous distributions and the next that’s in line. Mr. Commissioner announced to them that the distribution will be flagged off on Thursday 25th June at the Ministry of Agriculture. He announced that this year the government will be distributing 700,000 palm seedlings, 200,000 Ukwa, 50,000 oji Igbo, 50,000 aki ilu, and 40,000 pawpaw seedlings.
On his part, the SPAD Political Stated the structure of the distribution down the Kindred. The distribution list and the number of seedlings that will be received by every ward and Local Government will be released soon.
