It was a galore yesterday in Odoakpu Wards 3 and 4 when Onitsha South Chairman, Hon. Chief Emeka Joseph Orji toured the wards in a bid to fortify the APGA faithful for the task ahead and to fulfill the promise of alleviating five people from the current hardship in each ward across the 17 wards in Onitsha South Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Ward 3 chairman, Mr. Azuka Nebedum in his welcome address, received Chief Emeka and his entourage warmly welcomed.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Emeka Orji stated that Modebe by Bida Road will soon receive government attention and he further said that in two months time, the General Hospital in Fegge will be commissioned by the Governor, Prof. CC Soludo.
“Onitsha South is the most Local Government that receives the presence of the State Government and it took me one year and nine months to master the governance of Onitsha South Local Government Area, ” Chief Orji said.
During the event, Charley Nwa joined APGA ” I joined APGA today because of the tremendous work that I have seen Hon. Emeka Orji doing in Onitsha South,” he boasted.
Odoakpu Ward 3 Councilor and the ward deputy chairman Hon. Chika Kamelu could not conceal their joy because Charley Nwa is a strong and passionate politician.

ODOAKPU WARD 4
In line with the ward tour schedules, Odoakpu ward 4 chairman, Hon. Chukwudi Egwu Udoka warmly welcomed the chairman and his entourage.
The ward tour in Odoakpu Ward 4 turned out to be a great event that got the attention of non-APGA members who in no distance time will join APGA.
Addressing the APGA faithful, the Onitsha South LGA Chairman, Hon. Emeka Orji was over warm as it was written all over their faces for the unprecedented developmental strive that the council area has been enjoying within the short time of both the council chairman and Mr Governor’s administrations.
The council boss said that he came to say thank you for the unalloyed endorsement he received from Ward 4 and to remind him of the task ahead of the local government election.
In his address, he further said that he knew some people were not happy about the demolition of illegal structures by the government in a bid to restore the master plan and the beauty of Onitsha South which also affected his father’s house at Fegge.
“Since I came in as the Chairman of Onitsha South, the ugly stories of flooding stopped.
“Ndi Onitsha South will have a complete good road network across nook and cranny in our council area,” Hon. Emeka reassured.
