After meeting with President Tinubu, Labour maintains its stance on a minimum wage of N250,000.

Comrade Joe Ajaero, the President of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), has confirmed that the current minimum wage of N250,000 remains unchanged.

Despite reaching an agreement of N62,000 between the Federal Government and the Organised Private Sector, labor remains resolute in their call for N250,000.

In a conversation with State House Correspondents following his meeting with President Tinubu and other labor leaders on Thursday, Ajaero emphasized that the labor leaders engaged in a discussion, rather than a negotiation.

He mentioned that the meeting is expected to resume next week.
