The Onitsha South Local Government Mayor, Chief Emeka Orji, Oba Armani, gave the residents of Umu-Asele Street, Fegge, a five-day ultimatum to clear whenever they packed on the road to give free access to road users.
The Mayor disclosed the ultimatum when he visited Fegge General Hospital on Thursday morning, 13 February 2025, as he was briefed by the contractor of the hospital.
“Please inform the residents of Umu-Asele Street, converse to the main gate of this hospital, to evacuate everything they dumped on the street/road, and we are giving them from now until Monday, 17 February 2025,” the Mayor directed.
