The Executive Chairman of Enugu South Local Government Area, Hon. Barr. Chimezie Robinson Nkwuo has congratulated the newly elected leaders of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria,(ALGON), Enugu State Chapter.

According to the Council Boss, the 17 Local Government Areas in Enugu State requires a comprehensive leadership focus that will stir up the affairs and goals of the State in which he believed that the newly elected leaders will work to achieve such irrevocable desirable purpose.
Specifically, Barr. Nkwuo congratulated the newly Elected Chairman of the Association, Hon. Sydney Okechukwu Edeh, who doubles as the Council Chairman of Nkanu East Local Government Area while praying for a successful tenure for him and other elected leaders of the Association.

He stated that; “the recent emergence of Hon. Sydney Okechukwu Edeh and other of the Association’s Executives is clear evidence of a new dawn for a visionary and purposely leadership that will help carve a niche for the progress and development of the association from where the immediate past leadership stopped.
“Therefore; “I pray for the new Chairman and other elected leaders of the Association to work closely with the State Government to ensure smooth and mutual understanding between the State and the Local Government Areas, for massive development, and avenues for revenue and wealth creation towards the advancement of our dear State.
Lastly, the Southern Mayor, Hon. Barr. Chimezie Robinson Nkwuo, enjoined all other members of the Association to rely and support the new leadership, for unity, progress, and peaceful co-existence between the Local Governments and the State.
Congratulations dear Chairman, as I pray for God’s divine wisdom and directions over you and other elected leaders of our enviable Association, Amen!
