ONITSHA, ANAMBRA STATE – On a more celebration galore of the “welcome back”, today July 31, 2025, the Living Word Secondary School Housing Estate Fegge during their annual graduation ceremony, presented to His Excellency, the Executive Mayor of Onitsha South local government area a portrait drawing of himself and a portable designer handbag in appreciation of his magnanimous service and developmental strides in education sector in the council area.
The portrait and the bag were locally produced by the students of the Living Word secondary school, Chukwuemeka Charles Chigozie and Miracle Chikamso Amaechi respectively.
During the presentation, the principal, Pastor Kingsley Agomoh Ugochukwu, expressed appreciation for the Mayor’s significant achievements and conveyed optimism that with the grace of God Almighty, the Mayor would continue to excel throughout his current administration and beyond.
Pastor Kingsley further expressed their desire to collaborate with the local government.
In his response, the Mayor, who was ably represented by his New Media Aide, Comrade Ikechukwu Eze-Senator Iyke, emphasized Chief Emeka Orji’s commitment to inclusiveness and partnership with schools in his administration. He highlighted his administration’s focus on encouraging students in entrepreneurship, scholarship programs, and reinforcing Governor Soludo’s agenda on free education policy.
