The Leadership Scorecard held a public lecture yesterday 29th May, at the International Conference Center, Abuja, and Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo received an award of excellence, as the most Democratic Governor in Africa.
The event was to commemorate Nigeria’s 25th year of uninterrupted democratic trajectory and honored the historic role of the Nigerian former head of state, Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar in the country’s smooth transition from Military to Civil democratic leadership in 1999 to date and presentation of awards to distinguished personalities.
Rt. Hon. Beverly Ikpeazu-Nkemdiche, the Commissioner for Special Duties of Anambra State received the well-deserved award on behalf of the Governor and appreciated the organizers for the honor and also in recognizing the inclusiveness and human capital development of Prof. CC Soludo which spread across board.
The Anambra State Governor received an award from the Champions Newspaper as the best Governor on infrastructure and rural development recently.
