The Rt. Hon. Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Nkem Udeze Ph.D (Nnabuenyi), representing Ogbaru II, though carrying the weight of the State, remains undistracted regarding the critical roads in his constituency, including Atani Road, Ossomala to Ogwuikpele Road, Mission Road, and School Road (both in Iyiowa Odekpe). Despite these distractions, he has stayed focused on his mission to improve infrastructure and has achieved a major milestone: the approval of these roads for construction by Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
Ongoing efforts include the scoping of the road from Ossomala to Ogwuikpele, rehabilitation from Uga to Atani Junction, and scoping of Mission and School Roads in Iyiowa Odekpe. These projects represent the Speakerโs commitment to enhancing living standards in Ogbaru.
The Atani-Ogwuikpele Road spans approximately 58 km. To put this into perspective, the total length of roads constructed in Okpoko is less than 20 km. Yet, the Governor is committed to delivering this project, thanks to Mr. Speakerโs persistence and active representation.
Our people need to understand the complexities and costs involved in constructing roads in Ogbaru. Supporting Nnabuenyi and Governor Soludo in these endeavors is crucial. Their commitment to overcoming these challenges is evident, and their efforts will bring significant long-term benefits to our communities.
