Senator Dr. Victor Umeh OFR, FNIVS was on 27th June conferred with honorary Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations—FNIPR at the 60th Anniversary Celebration of the Institute held at the Congress Hall of Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
This honorary recognition was for his “profound contributions to legislative affairs and national development.” Nevertheless, the Honor by the National Council of the NIPR is also a testament to Senator Umeh’s significant roles in promoting democracy, good governance at all levels of government, and social justice.
However, there’s no gainsaying the fact that Senator Dr. Victor C. Umeh KSJI, KSS, OFR, FNIVS, FNIPR is a man roundly accomplishment in his professional career as a Fellow in the Nigerian Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers and his political endeavors having served as National Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Party for over ten years, a key participant in the 2014 National Conference and two-term Member of the Nigerian Senate (8th and 10th Senate precisely).
In addition to exquisitely performing his legislative responsibilities for the people of Anambra Central Senatorial District and Nigeria in general, the courageous and indomitable Senator is championing the advocacy for equity, justice, and fairness in governance as fundamental features in resolving ethnic and/or regional discrimination and the consequential feelings of marginalization in parts of the country dampening ideal patriotism among citizens.
