As the forthcoming governorship election in Anambra State approaches, a support group under the aegis of Solution Angels has commended Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo / Dr Gilbert Onyekachukwu Ibezim’s performance and organized a special prayer summit for his reelection bid at the Dora Akunyili Women’s Development Center in Awka.
The prayer summit, held Sunday, August 3, 2025, drew representatives of the Governor’s support groups, who gathered to offer prayers for sustained peace, development, and smooth re-election of the State Governor, Prof. CC Soludo.
Speaking at the event, the Director General of the All Soludo Support Groups (ASSGs), Hon. Chinedu Nwoye (Glamour) said the gesture showed solidarity and appreciation for the achievements recorded under the Governor’s leadership.
“We are gathered here to pray for our governor, who has remained committed to the development and well-being of Anambra State since assuming office.
“We are truly proud of his numerous strides in infrastructure, youth empowerment, agriculture, and other key sectors.
“It is incorrect to say that you are working for Soludo, but working for the good of Anambra State.
“Today, we pray for his good health, strength, and continued dedication to the growth of our dear state and his second-term bid for re-election”, Glamour state.
Also speaking, the National Coordinator of the Solution Angels, Hon. Mrs Omaliko Nkiru, reaffirmed their commitment to mobilizing greater grassroots support for Governor Soludo, especially in light of his administration’s focus on human capital development, infrastructure, and renowned healthcare facilities among others.
“We believe in the vision of Governor Soludo and call on every Anambra resident in the state to rally behind Olu Atu Egwu, come November 8, 2025, for continuity of good governance”, Hon. Omaliko said.
Comrade Ikechukwu Eze – Senator Iyke, a strong believer in the Governor’s re-election bid, stressed the need for constant prayer for Governor Soludo and prayed for God to vindicate anyone who causes or plans to bring abnormality before or during the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
Other participants who spoke also encouraged the people of Anambra State to be fervent in prayer for the present administration in the State, assuring them that the State will witness more transformation under Governor Soludo and his second-term bid.
